Updated: Sep 16, 2019

On Wednesday October 2 at 7:00 PM the pipes will resound at the command of organist David Simon. David is the organist of St. James Cathedral in Toronto, and recently completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Yale University. He has played concerts across North America, Europe, the UK, and Russia, and has won numerous awards including first prize in the 2019 RCCO national competition, and first prize and audience prize in the U. of Michigan international organ improvisation competition. His programme, played on St. Paul's fine 45-rank pipe organ, will include music of such favourites as Mendelssohn, Widor, Rossini, and others.

Admission is "Pay What You Can" (with a suggested donation of $15-20). The concert is supported by the Gordon and Joan Cameron Organ Trust, established with a generous gift by Joan Cameron in 2014 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of St. Paul’s Casavant pipe organ, in memory of Gordon Cameron.
